And yes, while a first world problem, the choices a paralyzing. I went to Lowes Home Improvement to check out cabinet knobs and pulls only to find they had about 5 to choose from. My designer sent me to a different place that literally had 100s if not 1000s to choose from and when I couldn't decide which ones to go with, I came home and poured over the internet for days. And this was for knobs and pulls! You can imagine the time I spent debating the appliances. And I still have a feeling there will be regret.... It has nail holes from previous residents and, more to the point, it also has a more-than-five-year-old "new" thermostat that is much smaller than the old one, so I can see TWO different paint colors in that spot. And yet we cannot bring ourselves to make the decision and actually paint the living room. (Forget the rest of the house!)<br />Cracking up over Larry's lack of visionary thinking. I have this problem with my husband, although my current wish is for a lake cabin and a travel trailer. It's mind-numbingly boring, the things all start to look the same after a while, but you know you're going to have to live with the choices for years to come. And it seems first-worldish to complain about when, actually, it means I have indoor plumbing. I would like to say indoor plumbing is over-rated, but it isn't.
