Okay, it's 1:30 PM and I'm already over my Weight Watchers points allowance for the day. And I haven't even eaten anything fun. Some grapes, a cup of granola (homemade), chicken soup, half a sandwich....
Someone shoot me, all right? I'm living in a minefield of food.
I keep thinking about things I'd like to eat. You know what I want? What I really, really want? I want one of those sacks of mini-Oreos. I could eat the whole thing and feel very, very happy. Is that so wrong?
But they're BITE SIZE! That means they have less calories and, therefore, don't count.
ReplyDeleteoh wait. I'm probably not the best judge.
I can totally relate...unfortunately, I am off sweets as much as possible...not always possible!
ReplyDeleteBlessings & good luck!
no, it's not wrong. but i always have the problem that if i eat oreos (no matter how carefully), i have brown crums between my teeth. i can't help it, it just happens. and because i don't want to brush my teeth every time i eat a cookie, i don't eat them.
ReplyDeletemakes sense? maybe not. i'm freaky that way

Not, not wrong! As a matter of fact, NOT wanting them is wrong. Weight Watchers are evil.
ReplyDeleteI remember the first few weeks of starting WW points all I can think about is food! The nice thing is if you have a treat once in a while you can adjust the rest of your day.
ReplyDeleteDawn I LOVE these skirts!!! You know I, along with many other SM's will be stalking the boutique for your testers wanted post!
I also wanted to let you know that you have won the Queen of ALLL Things Awe-Summm Award!
You can grab the award for your awesome blog from my blog.

My oatmeal & blue- or strawberries totally gets me through the morning. Maybe start off with something heavier like that, and see how far it takes you! Then, of course, 100 Calorie Packs Wheat Thins are a LOVELY snack in the afternoon :)
ReplyDeleteI think I would probably die if I had to be so careful with the food. Of course, I'd also be a whole lot thinner.
ReplyDeleteStupid points. I consumed my daily allotment cooking for my sons bake sale. I'm right there with you. Spinach salad or oreo's? I'd take the oreo's and then go run 2 miles.
ReplyDeleteYou could go walking for three hours and make up some points... Good luck!
ReplyDeleteCall me if you get the bag. I dont have anything fun to eat either.
ReplyDeleteHow many activity points is knitting worth? You've got to find out.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean----I would eat too many calories, when I was calorie counting---so would have to chew on cabbage or celery.
ReplyDeleteYum!
On days like that I just want to crawl into bed and wait for the next day so I can eat again.
ReplyDeleteI know! You'd think that the small ones wouldn't count.
ReplyDeleteI bought a package of double-stuff Oreos for my boys. I've eaten 9 of them in the past 12 hours, and I don't even especially like Oreos.
ReplyDeleteAnd I won't make it to the 10am meeting I told you about. I'll be back over at my friend's house while the cleaning company is there, to take her mind off what they are doing. Then I'm going to Costco to buy a cheesecake for tonight's dinner/silent auction. (The cake is for dessert, not the auction!)
I'm just wondering how on earth you went over your weight watchers points with only eating that!! Haha!! I've never ever been a fan of dieting! I'm the worst! When i try to diet all I can think about is the food I'm not having and so I reward myself for the good I've done by eating soooo much more than I should! Ugh!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain :)
