Over to the right there, below the ads and my profile and whatever else, is my rotating blog list. I'm very fond of it, actually. It updates itself whenever any of the blogs on it has a new post for me to read. The most recently posted-on blog appears at the top of the list.
Anywhoo, yesterday I noticed a blog that didn't belong there - it was a spam-ish sort of thing, and I needed it gone. Only, when I started tinkering around under the hood - as it were - of my sidebar, I managed to delete ALL of the blogs on my list.
When I realized that? Was NOT one of my better blogging moments.
By going through some of the comments on my latest posts, I was able to (very) partially restore the list. If I have missed you, please comment so I can give you back your rightful place in my sidebar. I could try going through a lot more comments, but I have this irritating thing called a "job" for which I am actually supposed to produce some "work." Preferably before my contract year ends at the end of this month...

I'd love to be the even though I probably don't comment enough to deserve it. I'll try to do better!
ReplyDeleteI never fool around with anything on my blog--I'm terrified of screwing something up permanently.
ReplyDeleteI want one of those features for my blog!
ReplyDeleteAlso, my future DIL & I were cracking up over that poster.
I changed the name of my blog and I lost my adsense account, my previous blogs, my followers. It took me 6 months to get my adsense sorted out. Wont mess with stuff like that again.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too bad, I'm not at my house and commenting from someone else's computer, left you a comment yesterday and I don't think it went through. Like blogging is hard.
ReplyDeleteI always pray that never happens to me because I don't know if I could remember everyone of them... : )
ReplyDeleteMs. Ravelled waves how-do...
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Someone will do anything to get comments... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI comment so rarely these days that I hadn't seen your new design! (feed reader) Love it! I am a faithful reader however.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that weird? I got blog spammed about a year ago--so strange how this blog kept turning up in my reader and I'd never ever heard of it.
ReplyDeleteInteresting poster, "Things To Do When The Internet IS Down." Gives one food for thought considering the 'net has become so much a part of our personal and commercial lives.
ReplyDeleteWow, it sucks that spam got into your blogroll.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that it's not just me who tries to do one little tinsy thing with their blog and ends up with an entire new format and tab bar in the middle of the screen. Thanks for popping over to my blog, I always get a kick out of hearing Sara Salley's name as I have another friend called Sally Sara. Yep. It's the small things.
