You know, I pride myself on being relatively well-informed on what is going on in the world around me. And yet, I managed to fail
this week's news quiz at the
New Yorker. I blame East Coast liberal bias.

What do those New York intellectuals know, anyway? |
Anyone else want to take a shot at it?
I can top that --I failed the ABC news quiz. Only 10 questions. And one of the ones I actually got right had to do with some celebrity thing. Very embarrassing. And, very low-brow.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the New Yorker had one, I'll have to try it.
4 correct. So a 33 for me! I think statistically I was only suppose to get 3 correct.
ReplyDeleteI got what you got.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to blame gender bias for asking about the NFL draft (but even if I give back that question - I still got one more right than you).
ReplyDelete58% for me, too. Failure.
ReplyDeleteI take those things all the time and I always get right around 60% too! What is it? I always feel "this time I'm doing better!" and then I don't after all.
ReplyDeleteThe only news bias I can claim against me is the no-news bias. My house is deliciously silent most days, so you can safely assume I got somewhere around 7% correct.
