I laugh because they've cancelled 3 schools in our state--and you just KNOW all those kids are romping around the malls and other enclosed areas spreading their filthy germs around. I've chosen to lock the doors and stay put.
LMAO! So far there are 6 schools in the Puget Sound area closed and my kids were very disappointed that none of them were their schools. The radio is going on and on about parents making sure their kids STAY AT HOME while the school is closed instead of going out with all their friends but c'mon, I know all the older kids at least are plotting get togethers since they've got an unexpected vacation. Instead of spreading through the schools it'll spread through the malls.
Hee hee. Love the site, I think I'll post it too if you don't mind. Giving you complete credit for the find of course! *still giggling*
LOL On a different note...I had no idea so many schools were closed! The news in Canada is obviously down playing the Swine Flu situation in the states!
Yep, it's time for a Panic Attack!! Sheesh. On the other hand, if our school closed, my 9yo would be down at the creek spreading it to all of the crayfish.
The hysteria is OUT OF CONTROL! My kids can't rub their eyes at school without having to go sanitize their hands. One boy was coughing because of his allergies, and he was sent home until he had been tested and cleared of swine flu.
However, I think I feel the sniffles coming on, and I think a little "Mother" quarantine might be in order. After which I could throw a fit and have a "time out for mom".
