They are residing, unopened, on our living room coffee table, waiting for that magical moment when all 6 of us can be in the same place at the same time to watch Larry unwrap them. ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any gifts. I did manage to make a steak dinner on Tuesday. But that was it for Father's Day. My husband just feels lucky he was not forced to have breakfast in bed.

ReplyDeleteWrapped gifts? I couldn't wrap the rhubarb custard pie, but I did serve it -- after SuperDad got home from taking EB to scout camp for the summer. I'm lucky I'd made the pie since I hadn't even considered what to make for his supper.

ReplyDeleteWe actually did the whole BBQ and pool trip thing. Very pleasant. Which is good because he's only been home for the weekends since we got back from our trip.
