Don't Cry For Me...

Did anyone else listen to Hillary's not-a-concession speech the other night in New York? And, if you did, was this song running through your head, also? Or am I just weird?

Just wondering. You know, I'm gonna miss that woman...

[Oh, and I could tell from my sitemeter that most of you didn't get around to clicking on that link I gave you yesterday. Not that that bothers me or anything. But if you want something amusing to read, go there. I'm coming down from my caffeine high and I'm too tired to think of anything even remotely entertaining right now.]

[I love sitemeter.]

  1. Hey, I clicked! And since I just found you recently and went through your archives, I even remembered that post. I laughed just as much yesterday as I did the first time I read it.

Did you get your a/c fixed yet?

    It made me sad, too.

  4. You do have to wonder what Hillary is waiting for--she's like a guest that just doesn't want to leave the party.

  5. You're so right. I should have read that yesterday. It's like 3 or 4 plagues descended on you at once.

I'm very sad that Hilary is out.

  6. Didn't watch it, didn't tape it. (yes, I know no one tapes things anymore that's just a saying at our house. It comes from... hmmm I wonder where it does come from.) I work very hard to maintain my perfect ignorance of what's going on in the world.
I clicked the link but I had already read it. That may be why a lot of people didn't, they remembered. Also I sometimes don't like to because if it doesn't open in a new window then I get distracted and forget to come back and finish what I was originally reading. (If you set your links to open in another widow we'd avoid that problem but hey, it's your blog. I'm just saying...)

  7. I really respect HRC but I kept thinking.. she knows she's lost, right? I mean, does she think if she doesn't concede, the primaries will go on...

is sitemeter better than google analytics?

  8. I didn't listen. Her voice makes me want to chew on nails, remember? I wish my kids would get chickenpox naturally. I'd be more sure of their immunity that way, seeing as how I don't want them to get shingles and ruin my chances of grandchildren. But noooooooooo, the vaccine has eliminated the virus just enough so that you can't GET it anymore, and you can't maintain your immunity, so now all the old people are getting sick (or vaccinated).

I'm done now. Sorry, I'm so very hot...
