Gotcha! Questions

You know, I pride myself on being relatively well-informed on what is going on in the world around me.  And yet, I managed to fail this week's news quiz at the New Yorker.  I blame East Coast liberal bias.

What do those New York intellectuals know, anyway?

Anyone else want to take a shot at it?

  1. I can top that --I failed the ABC news quiz. Only 10 questions. And one of the ones I actually got right had to do with some celebrity thing. Very embarrassing. And, very low-brow.

I didn't know the New Yorker had one, I'll have to try it.

  2. 4 correct. So a 33 for me! I think statistically I was only suppose to get 3 correct.

  3. You forgot to blame gender bias for asking about the NFL draft (but even if I give back that question - I still got one more right than you).

  4. 58% for me, too. Failure.

  5. I take those things all the time and I always get right around 60% too! What is it? I always feel "this time I'm doing better!" and then I don't after all.

  6. The only news bias I can claim against me is the no-news bias. My house is deliciously silent most days, so you can safely assume I got somewhere around 7% correct.
